Spring Grove is located in the northeast corner of McHenry County.  Route 12 is the major arterial that services the community from east to west. The industrial parks, Route 12 industrial/commercial and available space makes Spring Grove a viable area for expansion, development and retention.

Although Spring Grove has more than tripled in population over the past eight years, it retains its small town atmosphere.  The village is poised for continued economic growth and development well into the new millennium.

One of the best kept secrets of Spring Grove is its Fourth of July celebration. A large number of residents come out for a full day of Norman Rockwellesque events starting with a parade, finishing in Horse Fair Park with a village-wide picnic and culminating with elaborate fireworks.

On the last weekend of every July, the Illinois Storytelling Festival takes place in Spring Grove.  Thousands of people flock to the community to hear some of the most respected and renowned storytellers in America.

Please feel free to call the Chamber office with any questions might have concerning the greater Spring Grove area.  The phone number is (815) 678-7742 or fax (815) 678-2070.
